Once the desired spots have been selected, each requires two parameters to be configured. Both of the parameters can be modified by selecting the icon, located on the far right-hand side of the screen for each registered spot. The edit spot settings screen will then open.
1) Collection: The frequency in which the Gateway will connect with the DynaLogger of the selected spot, i.e. how often it will collect the data measured by this DynaLogger. The interval between collections must be defined and therefore the Gateway collection start time.
It is important to know the difference between the concept of collection time and sample interval. The first concerns the Gateway, while the second is a setting chosen for a DynaLogger. The measurements collected by a DynaLogger, obtained according to the sample interval, are saved in the DynaLogger’s internal memory until the Gateway, based on the defined collection time, collects and clears the memory of the DynaLogger.
2) Spectral Analysis: How often the Gateway will connect to the DynaLogger of a selected spot to obtain a spectrum. It is necessary to define the interval between spectra and therefore the start time for obtaining them. It is also possible to choose on which axes the spectra will be performed, as per the image below.
After making the changes to the desired intervals, the information must be saved. At the end of the configuration, select “SAVE” in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, the user will then receive a confirmation message of the configuration.
